Meet your community champion!

After immigrating to Australia in 1980 from the apartheid regime of South Africa, Pye settled with her family of 7 in Queensland.  

Pye is a mother with three adult children and has over 30 years' experience in leadership in sporting organisations. Recently working as the Operations Manager of Western Pride Football Club a National Premier League Club, located at Briggs Road, Raceview.

As the President of Springfield United Football Club, Pye created the fastest growing sporting club in Southeast Queensland. 

Pye has worked in the financial sector for over 10 years, working for Anz Bank and Suncorp Bank. Pye actively engages with the community, by listening and actioning community concerns or requests by assisting then following up with constituents.

Pye likes to keep fit by taking part in Park Runs around Ipswich on a Saturday morning, as well as during the week. Pye also is a football commentator for Football Queensland.

As your community champion Pye will advocate for a community that is vibrant, connected and one that cares.
